- update the participants on the latest Mathematics Curriculum and other preparations for the implementation of the K to 12 Program;
- enhance the knowledge and skills of elementary and secondary school heads and Mathematics teachers to produce graduates who are independent and life-long learners;
- strengthen the commitment of teachers to their vocation as molders of the youth;
- acquaint the Mathematics teacher-educators from Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) with the demands of these teachers in the field so as to align the preparation of pre-service elementary and secondary teachers to equip them with the knowledge and skills expected of them;
- provide a venue for sharing of experiences in integrating ICT in the teaching of Mathematics; and
- develop a network of Mathematics teachers, school heads and teachers who will work together towards excellence in Mathematics Education.
The participants can she a 15-minute presentation on how the elementary and secondary Mathematics teachers use technologies, other innovations and best practices to improve learning Mathematics in their respective department, school, district and division. All concerned are requested to send a short abstract for the evaluation and for the inclusion in the program, with the title of the topic to be shared, name of sharer, designation, institution and telephone/cellphone number. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis for the selection of the presentor of the abstract.

A registration fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP3,500.00) shall be charged to each participant who will pay at any Metrobank Branch on or before March 30, 2012 to deposited to the MTAP Account No. 730-4509-860 (for Baguio), and Four Thousand Pesos (PhP4,000.00) for those who will pay after March 30 until April 10, 2012 to deposited to MTAP Account No. 330-4078-651 (for Bacolod). The fee will cover conference materials/handouts/CDs, bag, certificate of attendance, board and lodging and meals of participants, honoraria, of resource speakers and other miscellaneous expenses. The first meal will be supper of Day 0 (April 25 for Baguio and May 2 for Bacolod) and the last meal will be lunch of Day 3 (April 28 for Baguio and May 5 for Bacolod).

Send a short abstract of what you want to share as soon as you can so that the Program Committee can select what can be included in the program. Include in the abstract the title of the sharing, name of sharer, designation institution, telephone/cellphone number. This will in the first come first served basis.
- Selected abstract sharer(s) should be attendee(s) of that particular Conference. No stipend or transportation will be given except certificate of recognition.
