The Office of Consular Affairs (OCA)-Authentication Division of the
Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announces the dissemination of the
following information for applicants of Certification, Authentication
and Verification (CAV) for use abroad through the Department of
Education (DepEd) regional offices nationwide to further improve the
delivery of its authentication services:
1. The deadline for claiming authenticated documents shall be three months form the date of release as indicated on the claim stubs; and 2. If the applicant is unable to claim the documents personally, the applicant may send an authorized representative to claim his/her documents provided that the following are submitted: - An authorization letter or Special Power of Attorney (SPA) from the applicant; and
- A photocopy of the ID of both the applicant and the representative bearing their signatures.
