The Conference aims to:
- look at the research and writing on local history of Luzon as well as of other regions in the archipelago, and to situate these studies in the context of national history;
- identify gaps that can be addressed by future or further research and encourage systematic studies on local and national history; and
- present papers related to social science disciplines and in the humanities.
The target participants to this activity are PNHS members, teachers, and school administrators from both public and private elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
