The Conference aims to:
- discuss current paradigms in the teaching of language and literature;
- derive from current classroom practices the best principles, methods, and approaches in language and literature teaching and learning; and
- facilitate networking among educators for purposes of enabling them to fulfill their functions of teaching, research, publication, and extension work more effectively.
The target participants to this activity are teachers of English and literature, supervisors, and administrators concerned with the upgrading of the teaching of language and literature from both public and private schools.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
