The Conference aims to:
- acquaint the teacher-participants with evolving research paradigms and linguistic scholarship;
- expose them to the recent developments in learning theories and praxes;
- familiarize them with innovative teaching techniques and creative pedagogies in the language and literature classrooms; and
- engage them in discussions on the language and literature aspects of the K to 12 Curriculum.
The Conference will be held in conjunction with the 34th Manila International Book Fair scheduled on September 11-15, 2013.
The educators, writers, teachers and students nationwide are invited to attend this activity.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
