a. present new directions and options in teaching English geared towards disciplinary literacy and developing students’ communication skills for multiple purposes and audiences;
b. promote teachers’ confidence in teaching, writing and research as they gain more knowledge about writing for academic publication;
c. provide opportunities for them to share and discuss issues related to the theme and the K to 12 Curriculum, and to offer answers and innovations based on their experiences in their own school setting; and
d. serve as a venue for presentation of research findings in the various areas of language teaching.
The target participants to this activity are graduate students, teachers, researchers, administrators from both public and private schools and interested individuals.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
