The University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila through the College of Public Health (CPH), Department of Nutrition will hold its 11th Course on Food Safety on May 7-12, 2012 at the College of Public Health, UP-Manila.
The activity aims to:
- make the participants fully understand the concepts and principles of food safety such as the hazards in food and drink; its etiology, health and nutrition implications, prevention and control measures; and
- provide them with knowledge of the various food safety systems which they can apply in their respective institutions.
The target participants to this activity are the provincial/city/municipal health officers, nutritionist-dietitians, food technologists, school health officers, sanitary engineers, hotel and food services managers, quality assurance managers, hygiene and sanitation officers, executive chefs, health education and promotion officers, teachers/educators and students.
Each participant will be charged any of the following course fees to cover training course materials, kit, lunch and snacks for five (5) days and the educational field visit, excluding airfare and accommodation:

A non-refundable reservation fee of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) will be required to be deducted from the course fee. The payment should be deposited at the Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI), Taft Avenue Branch under the Account Name of UP-CPH Foundation, Inc. with Account No.: 306 1-0738-67 and TIN No.: 002684075-000.
