The caravan aims to advocate the need for education stakeholders to embrace the belief that between hope and despair, education is the greatest equalizer. Indeed, there is a need to teach and learn beyond the curriculum by teaching the compassionate heart and nurture character.
The topics to be discussed in the seminar are the following:
- Keeping Up with the K to 12 School;
- Becoming Masters of Your Own Destinies;
- Making You Proud National Citizens, yet Competitive in the Global Workforce;
- Breaking the Walls of Ignorance, Myth and Complacency;
- Learning Beyond the Four Walls of the Classroom;
- Nurturing the Compassionate Heart and Building Personal Character;
- Personal Branding for Future Career Success;
- Communicating Beyond the Syntax of Language; and
- Realizing One Humanity Sharing and Enriching the Earth.
This activity is designed for high school student-leaders, guidance counselors, students affairs’ coordinators, and youth welfare workers.
