Unique activities are lined-up for this event focused mainly on leadership, responsibility, community development, environmental awareness and action, and fellowship. At the end of the Rover Moot, the participants will be able to:
- she the responsibility of community development
- develop leadership skills and practice teamwork
- increase commitment to help save Mother Earth
- appreciate the cultural and historical heritage of the host province/city and its people; and
- organize themselves as "Messengers of Peace" through Community Immersion Projects.
Rovers, roverettes and senior scouts (3rd and 4th year high schools students), including DepEd personnel involved in Scouting, are authorized to attend and participate in this National Scouting event on official business.
A registration fee of One Thousand Pesos (PhP1,000.00) shall be charged each participant to defray expenses for the program materials, certificates, individual souvenir items and administration costs. Payment must be made to the BSP National Office through the Local Council on or before September 30, 2012. The registration fee, transportation and other incidental expenses of participants from the public schools are chargeable to local or local school board funds subject to availability of funds.
The regional directors (RDs), schools division/city superintendents (SDSs) and school heads (SHs) are encouraged to send their participants.
