WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION?
- Public elementary school teachers handling any one of these three subjects: Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP); Araling Panlipunan; and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) and have been using the Teaching Guides on Financial Education in any of the said three subjects for at least one school year. However, the nominee must not be on leave during the covered search period, or one (1) year prior to nomination and during the actual search process.
- Teacher's performance rating during the covered search period should be at least Very Satisfactory.
WHO ARE NOT QUALIFIED?
- Spouses and first-degree relatives of officers and employees of the BSP.
- Teachers who have been suspended, reprimanded, or have been sanctioned for violation of administrative policies, rules and regulations.
WHO CAN NOMINATE?
- Principals, or School Heads (including Teachers-in-Charge and Head Teachers)
- For schools without principals, the Teacher-in-Charge can nominate, but the Division Superintendent concerned must endorse the nomination.
- If the nominee is the Head Teacher or Teacher-in-Charge himself/herself, any of the Division Supervisors can endorse him/her, but the Division Superintendent is the official recommending officer.
- Parents or residents in the community, but the nomination must be coursed through the principal of the school.
WHERE TO GET NOMINATION FORMS
Nomination forms will be made available at the BSP Main Office, all BSP Regional/ Branch Offices, and DepEd's Main and Regional/Division Offices. The forms will also be downloaded from the BSP website at www.bsp.gov.ph.
