The mobile payment service is called "Remittance-By-Air" or RBA. If you are an Individually-Paying PhilHealth member, you can follow these steps on how to pay your PhilHealth contributions using your cellphone. As of this writing, the participating telecommunication companies negotiated by PhilHealth and eSolutione Inc. are SMART and Talk N Text. On-going negotiations are still on process with Sun and Globe. So, you can only use SMART and Talk N Text sim in paying your PhilHealth contributions.
Steps in Paying PhilHealth contribution Using Your Cellphone
1. Only Individually Paying Members can pay through "Remittance-By-Air" (RBA). The Individually-Paying Member (IPM) is required to have the following:
- PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN). It can be found in your PhilHealth Number Card (PNC).
- PHIC (PhilHealth ID Number)
- SMART or Talk 'N Txt sim card with with regular prepaid load (this excludes unlimited text load and unlimited SIM) of not less than P115 for monthly mode of payment.

- This transaction costs P2.50
- After sending the text message, you will receive a message confirming the correct PhilHealth ID Number.
"PIN 123456789012/Tan III, Jose Reyes, if correct, confirm download and PIN. Text PHIC YES and send to 7442".
- Type PHIC YES and send to 7442
"Sorry invalid PIN due to syntax. Please check the PIN from your PhilHealth Number Card. Could one mobile phone used by more than one PhilHealth member?
Yes. But each member should finish his/her transaction after 24 hours before allowing another PhilHealth member to use the cell phone. You may view and print the proof of payment (receipt) by logging-in to the PhilHealth website (philhealth.gov.ph). Go to Individually-Paying tab > View payment thru R-B-A. In the View payment thru R-B-A webpage, enter your PIN inside field box and click Submit button. You will then see the list of your payment transactions by date. - Generally, for monthly and quarterly mode of payment, the requirement for IPMs is to have paid at least 3 months premium contribution within 6 months prior to availment. PROVIDE, he/she is able to establish regularity of premium payment to avail of certain PhilHealth benefits that would require payment of nine (9) monthly contributions within the immediate twelve (12) months prior to availment.
