The West Philippine Sea Essay Contest

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) through the US Pinoys for Good Governance (USP4GG) invites Filipino students to participate the Essay Contest with the theme The West Philippine Sea and Its Impact on the Future of the Philippines.
The Contest aims to educate and increase awareness of Filipino students regarding the issues on the West Philippine Sea (particularly the Scarborough Shoal and Spratly Islands) with China.

All Filipino students in both public and private secondary schools and/or Filipino descent studying in the Philippines or overseas, ages 10 to 25 years old are invited to join the contest.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of¬classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
