Tiki-Tiki Stars Christmas Caroling and Parol Making Contest

The Concept Marketing Specialists, Inc. (CMSI) in partnership with the United Laboratories (Unilab) Tiki-Tiki Stars will conduct the Tiki-Tiki Stars Christmas Caroling and Parol Making Contest on the following dates:

The contest aims to create a special heartwarming Christmas family event in schools which will highlight young talents as Tiki-Tiki Stars while celebrating Filipino traditions in the spirit of Christmas.

The mechanics of the contests are the following:

1. Tiki Tiki Christmas Caroling Contest

• The contest will run in 120 schools in Greater Manila Area (GMA);
• Each group should be composed of 20-30 grade school pupils from Grades I-VI (ages 7-12 years old) and should submit their entry form with the required proof of purchase;
•  Each group must be supported by one (1) conductor and will be given a maximum of ten (10) minutes to perform;
• The carol of choice can be sung in English or any Filipino dialect centered on the theme and should be done with choreography and production effects;
• Carol may be done in acapella or with the aid of non-electronic musical instruments. The musical instruments can only be played by the members of the participating group;
• The Criteria for Judging is as follows:
  

Quality of the Production Number	30%
Adherence to the theme "Busog sa Pagmamahal"	30%
Overall Group Presentation, Costumer and Effects	20%
Interpretation and Creativity	20%
Total	100%

2. Tiki-Tiki Stars Parol Making Contest

• The contest is open to all grade school pupils in all participating schools;
• To join, pupils should submit their entry with the required proof of purchase;
• The Parol should use Tiki Tiki Boxes as materials and should not be less than one (1) feet in height or width;
• The Criteria for Judging is as follows:

Creativity and Originality	40%
Proof of Purchase	30%
Design and Quality of Work	30%
Total	100%

The contest is open to all Grades I-VI (ages 7-12 years old) pupils from both public and private schools in Greater Manila Area (GMA).
