The National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines (NAUCP) will
hold the First National Innovation Conference on Education with the
theme " Preparing the Filipino Youth for Decent Jobs and Better Lives” on
March 1-3, 2012 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP),
Tagaytay City.
The NAUCP is mandated to advocate, establish and maintain linkages, undertake activities, programs and projects and work directly with the communities and the different stakeholders to gain support in pushing for UNESCO’s ideals and mission at the grassroots level. This Conference aims to: - deepen the awareness and understanding of educational innovations which will prepare the young people for decent jobs and better lives;
- showcase outstanding youth skills needed to get employment through academic contests and immersion activities;
- promote national and community-based collaboration across all sectors and levels to improve skills development of the Filipino youth; and
- facilitate networking and exchange of experiences among policy makers, researchers, educators, administrators, youth and private sector personnel.
The student leaders, guidance counselors, policy-makers and educators are invited to attend this activity. Each participant will be charged a registration fee of Six Thousand Pesos (PhP6,000.00) to cover expenses for food, accommodation, kits and materials.
