In the past, the PEOS was given in POEA training centers located all over the country. To take the PEOS, prospective overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) would need to spend a lot of time and money traveling to POEA training centers. However, as a result of the development of the Internet, prospective OFWs can now take the PEOS online from the convenience of their own homes using a smartphone or computer.
Why Use the Online PEOS?
The POEA and Workabroad.ph collaborated on PEOS Online to make it simple and convenient to access information and training on overseas job applications and life as an OFW. It has eight learning modules, each of which can be completed in about an hour. ,'_com-medrectangle-3','ezslot_5',191,,_('div-gpt-ad-_com-medrectangle-3-0');
A slideshow presentation and a short video with Tagalog narration make up each module. You will be required to respond to the review questions after watching the video or slideshow. Before you can move on to the subsequent module, you need at least three correct answers. If this is not the case, you will be redirected to the lessons until you have completed all of them.
So, why must you take the PEOS? In addition to providing you with the PEOS certificate, which can be used for overseas job applications and the POEA's pre-employment processing, PEOS will also provide you with all of the information you require regarding working abroad. You will learn how to apply for jobs, where to apply, how to avoid illegal recruiters, how to stay safe while working abroad, how to live as an OFW, and many other topics through the PEOS learning modules.
You don't have to go to a POEA branch to take the PEOS with PEOS Online. You can get your PEOS certificate in less than an hour if you just use a computer or smartphone with access to the Internet. PEOS Online is open to everyone, so you can still take it even if you don't intend to work abroad right now. It contains a wealth of information that is relevant not only to potential OFWs but also to Filipinos as a whole. 300,250],'_com-medrectangle-4','ezslot_6',192,,_('div-gpt-ad-_com-medrectangle-4-0');
