Work & Financial Planning Meeting on Adopt-A-School Program

The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Adopt-A-School Program (ASP) Secretariat shall conduct its Work and Financial Planning Meeting with the ASP Regional Coordinators on November 9-11, 2011 at the Ecotech, Lahug, Cebu City.
The activity aims to:
  1. prepare work and financial plans for 2012;
  2. appraise the implementation of various ASP projects and activities;
  3. review 2012 budget utilization plan on downloaded funds to the regional and division offices;
  4. revisit and revise the Criteria in the Selection of Best School Implementors of Brigada Eskwela; and
  5. discuss plans for the 2011 Brigada Awards Night set in November.
The participants are expected to bring the following:
  1. copy of work and financial plan for 2012;
  2. copies of ASP report (2nd and 3rd quarters) and 2011 Brigada Eskwela Report; and
  3. list of schools identified as candidate awardees for 2011 Best School Implementors of Brigada Eskwela.
The participants to this activity are the regional coordinators, ASP secretariat officials and staff. The participants shall check in at 6:00 p.m. of November 9 and check out at 1:00 p.m. of November 11, 2011. The program of activities is enclosed.

The transportation expenses of the participants from the regions shall be charged to local funds while the expenses of those from the Central Office shall be charged to ASP Funds subject to the usual accounting rules and regulations.
