Task Force on the Operation of Integrated Schools (TFOIS)

In the exigency of the service, the Task Force on the Operation of Integrated Schools (TFOIS) is created to craft/review and enhance/reformulate the policies contained in DepEd Order No. 91, s. 1999 entitled, Guidelines on the Establishment and Operation of Integrated Schools.
The composition of the Task Force shall be as follows:

Specifically, the Task Force shall perform the following functions:
  1. review DepEd Order No. 91. s. 1999;
  2. conduct researches and gather feedbacks from existing integrated schools (IS);
  3. craft/formulate and enhance guidelines to include the standards criteria and staffing patterns among others on the establishment of new IS or conversion of schools into IS considering/integrating the concepts and principles of the IS in the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program;
  4. coordinate with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) for technical assistance and other pertinent concerns to facilitate the finalization of the enhanced guidelines;
  5. consult with the stakeholders on the effectiveness of the enhanced/reformulated guidelines;
  6. finalize and disseminate the revised Guidelines on the Establishment and Operation of Integrated Schools milestone through a DepEd Order; and
  7. report regularly to the Secretary regarding developmental activities and output of the Task Force.
The expenses to be incurred relative to the activities of the Task Force including the travelling expenses of the Central Office Task Force members and support staff shall be charged to OSEC Funds, while the travelling expenses of the members from the DepEd field units and different associations shall be charged to the local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
