Rights Education and Action Caravan for Humanity (REACH) Project

The Amnesty International (AI) will conduct the Rights Education and Action Caravan for Humanity (REACH) Project in different schools and barangays from June 2011 to March 2012.
The objective of this activity is to inform, motivate and inspire people to take effective action for the defense, respect and promotion of human rights for all. Specifically, the project aims to:

1. raise awareness on human rights in 33 schools and 17 barangays in nine (9) regions of the Philippines;
2. engage schools, communities and individuals in human rights education activities;
3. encourage support for AI's Demand Dignity Campaign (to end human rights abuses that keep women, men and children poor); and
4. showcase AI's work for human rights in the last 50 years through artwork exhibit.
