The Quiz Bee Foundation will hold the 34th National Quiz Bee from August 3 to December 7, 2013.
The National Quiz Bee aims to strengthen education by promoting academic excellence in Philippine History, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Values Education particularly good values, leadership, peace, unity, brotherhood and love of country.
Before the National Grand Finals on December 7, 2013 there will be multi-level elimination rounds as follows:

| c. Provincial Regional Eliminations | October 19 - November 16, 2013 |
| d. National Capital Region (NCR) City/Municipality Eliminations | September 7 - October 26, 2013 |
| e. NCR Regional Eliminations | November 16, 2013 |
| f. Summit of the Super Quiz Bee | December 5, 2013 |
Any pupil/student enrolled this school year from any public and private schools in the country with an academic grade point average of 85%, its equivalent or higher, whofalls in the following levels can join in the competition:

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
