2011 Conference on Leadership Strategies for School Managers (LESSM)

The AHEAD Professional (AHEADPro) Network will conduct the 2011 Conference on Leadership for School Managers (LESSM) with the theme "Preparing, Developing and Equipping K to 12 School Leaders: Academic Enhancement and Transition Management,” on January 19-20, 2012 at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center, J.V. del Rosario Bldg., Benavidez, Trasierra Streets, Legazpi Village, Makati City. The conference aims to:

1. prepare the school leaders and administrators for a seamless transition management;
2. layout with them a clear cut K to 12 roadmap which will highlight curriculum and policy options;
3. equip and empower them to adapt the changes and make the most out of the K to 12 Basic Education Program in developing and expanding the business aspect of their academic institutions.
   

The conference will focus on the following topics:

1. The Guiding Principles of the Enhanced K to 12 Basic Education Program;
2. K to 12 Information, Education and Communication;
3. Transition Management: Academics and Administration; and
4. Financial Management and Operational Efficiency.
   

The participants to this conference are school administrators and managers, and those who are practicing and beginning the journey of quality academic excellence and continuous improvement in their respective schools.

A registration fee of Seven Thousand Pesos (PhP7,000.00) shall be charged to each participant to cover expenses for snacks and lunch for two (2) days and conference kit. Discounted rates for early registrants and group discounts are available. The deadline for registration is on October 15, 2011.
