- create waste-free and pest-free establishments and environment where pest control is the center of all efforts for food safety, public health and property protection;
- acquire knowledge on the different urban pest control and environment-related technologies which are locally available and proven effective against common urban pests;
- show how alternative fuels recycled from organic wastes are used in the food industry; and
- support "Buy Filipino-made Products, Buy Local."
The participants to this conference are the following: (1) personnel from food manufacturing, restaurants, supermarkets, markets, malls, hotels and related establishments; (2) officials of government agencies, LGUs, NGOs, POs who are concerned on food safety, public health and property protection; (3) urban pest control operators and pesticide applicators, entomologists; (4) medical officers and nurses, urban planners, sanitarians, and waste management practitioners; and (5) public and private academe including students.
The NCUPC has applied for Continuing Education Program (CEP) Accreditation with the Professional Regulation Commission for the participants to this conference.
The registration fee of Two Thousand Pesos (PhP2,000.00) will be charged to each participant which is inclusive of a lunch, heavy snacks, a conference kit, and a certificate. A ten percent (10%) discount will be given to early registrants. Likewise, participants from the government sector shall be given thirty percent (30%) discount.
