The Department of Parasitology, College of Public Health, University of
the Philippines (UP)-Manila will hold the 22nd Intensive Training Course
on Diagnostic Parasitology on May 16-20, 2011 at the Lara Hall of the
College of Public Health of said university.
The training course will focus on microscopic and immunologic diagnosis of endemic parasitic diseases such as soil, water, food and vector borne parasitic infections; medically important arthropods; quality assurance and advances in the practice of medical parasitology. The health personnel engaged in teaching, research and diagnosis of parasitic infections are invited to attend this training. A registration fee of Eight Thousand Pesos (PhP8,000.00) shall be charged to each on-site registrant and Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP7,500.00) to each early registrant. This fee is inclusive of training kit, lunch and snacks for five days.
