This activity aims to emphasize that solidarity is essential to reduce stigma and discrimination and to promote involvement of people living with HIV for more effective HIV responses.
In this connection the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued the CSC Announcement No. 19, s. 2013 encouraging all government agencies to support and participate in the PNAC observance of IACM.
In support of this event, the regional and division offices and schools are enjoined to undertake the following activities:
- production and display of a banner (tarpaulin or cloth, in red and white colors) in schools and offices or other strategic places in celebration of the event; and
- conduct of HIV and AIDS Education session, or forum.
