This contest is open to all youth who are Filipino citizens living, studying, or working in any parts of the Philippines. There will be two categories: one is for those aged 9-17, while the other from age 18-23. No entrant should have reached the age 24 by May 31, 2012 in order to qualify, and out-of-school youth (OSY) will be given equal opportunity as those in school.
Youth are encouraged to use any camera, such as handheld videos, handicams, digital cameras, mobile phones with camera capability, among others.
There are no restrictions in the themes but the contest is seeking works which define the Filipino youth’s hopes and aspirations in life, their views on issues which affect them, their families, their schools, and their communities in general. These can be about family concerns, education, environment, substance abuse, teenage life and problems, career plans and ambitions, hopes for the future, community issues and others.
