The Department of Filipino and Other Languages, College of Arts and Social Sciences, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) will hold the National Seminar in Filipino with the theme " K+12, MLE at iba pa: Mga Isyu at Implikasyon sa Pagtuturo ng Filipino” on November 21-23, 2012 at the MSU-IIT Mini Theater, Iligan City.
The Seminar aims to share with the participants the issues in K+ 12 and other contemporary approaches in teaching Filipino and the Philippine literature.
The target participants to this activity are teachers from both public and private elementary, secondary and tertiary schools.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
