International Seminar on Teaching English

The Southeast-Global Language Learning and Training Center (GLLTC) will hold its International Seminar on Teaching English with the theme "Exploring Multiliteracies in Teaching English” on the following dates and venues:

October 26-28, 2012DepEd Ecotech Center, Lahug, Cebu City

The Seminar aims to:
  1. explore the theoretical bases of multiliteracies and their implication to language teaching;
  2. prepare participants on materials design and development;
  3. showcase teaching techniques in exploring multiliteracies in learning English;
  4. introduce the K to 12 English Curriculum; and
  5. strengthen English instruction in the midst of multilingual education.
The target participants to this activity are teachers, education supervisors and school heads from both public and private elementary and secondary schools.
