GEOQUIZ 2013

The University of the Philippines Geological Society (UP GeoSoc) will hold the GEOQUIZ 2013 with the theme Going Beyond Limits to Expand Knowledge and Cultivate Interest in Geology on October 12, 2013 at the Audio-Visual Room, National Institute of Geological Sciences (NIGS), UP Campus, Diliman, Quezon City. The Contest aims to:

1. promote excellence in the field of geosciences; and
2. develop the students’ competitiveness and camaraderie through a friendly competition.
   

This activity is open to all secondary students from both public and private schools nationwide.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
