The Celebration aims to provide a means of promoting and drawing nationwide awareness on the importance of policy research in national development.
The following are the suggested activities for this year’s Celebration:
- Displaying of banner/streamer within the institution’s premises depicting the theme;
- Featuring announcements about the DPRM and its theme in various publications or dissemination outlets such as website, facebook, and other social media page; and
- Organizing activities or events which may have the list of activities/events for the 2012 DPRM Celebration to be posted in the DPRM website: dprm.pids.gov.ph and in the PIDS Facebook Page: facebook. com / PIDS. PH.
All departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the national government, local government units, government owned or controlled corporations, the private, and the public sector are invited to actively support the activities and programs of said celebration.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith”.
