The United Nations Girls Education Initiative (UNGEI), in partnership
with the East Asia and the Pacific (EAP) and South Asia (SA), invites
students to submit entries for the 3rd Drawing Contest.
The contest aims to promote gender equality in education. The competition is open to all boys and girls ages eighteen (18) years and below, to nationals and residents of Asia and the Pacific. The drawings must be submitted in A4 size, colored or black/white. The participants may use any materials such as crayons, pencils, paint, etc. The drawings can depict from the following: - Sports activities;
- Activities at home;
- Playing together; and
- School environment.
All drawings received will undergo a two-round voting process: - first round will be done by the UNGEI partners; and
- second round of voting will be organized on-line and will be open to the public.
All entries which will be submitted must be accompanied by the Registration Form. At the back of each drawing, the name, age, sex and country of the participant must be indicated for identification and publication purposes. These entries must be submitted not later than September 30, 2011. The entries may be submitted to the UNESCO Bangkok, Appeal Unit, 920 Sukhumvit Road, Prakanong, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110, Thailand or may be sent through e-mail address: gender.bgk@unesco.org. - https://www.affordablecebu.com/
