The Conference aims to:
- encourage systematic research on various aspects of Manila studies;
- present papers by recognized scholars, as well as by young and upcoming academicians in their respective fields of research and expertise;
- present their highlighting aspects of Manila’s history and culture, as well as studies on national history; and
- provide useful teaching materials for the school teachers.
The target participants to this activity are students, teachers and school principals from both public and private schools.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no- disruption¬of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
