2011 "I Teach Science Seminar" (ITSS)

As part of the celebration of the National Science Club Month (NSCM) this September, the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) will conduct the "I Teach Science Seminar" (ITSS) on September 3, 2011. This will be held simultaneous with the National Club Summit, at eight (8) different regional sites including Pangasinan, Laguna, Bicol, Capiz, Cebu, Pagadian, Koronadal and Cagayan de Oro. The seminar aims to:

1. strengthen ties among the Chemistry teachers;
2. give them pointers in teaching Chemistry;
3. provide the participants with the latest updates in the field of Chemistry;
4. make them appreciate the relevance of Chemistry in education and in the society; and
5. encourage active participation of the teachers and students in the NSCM celebration, and in the Science Clubbing Movement.
   

This is a half-day activity that is packed with lectures, workshops and discussions.

The teachers of Science in the secondary levels from both public and private schools are invited to attend the said activity.
