18th Philippine Nihongo Teachers’ Forum

The Japan Foundation Manila in cooperation with the Association of Filipino Nihongo Teachers (AFINITE) will conduct its 18th Philippine Nihongo Teachers’ Forum with the theme Nihongo Teachers, Gear Up for the Future! Be Aware of the Effects of the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) on Our Nihongo Lessons on October 19-20, 2013 at the Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City.
The Forum aims to provide Nihongo teachers with information on the current status of Japanese Language Education (JLE) in the Philippines and to prepare them in honing their students’ language skills they need for future work or further studies.

The target participants to this activity are Nihongo teachers and those who are actively involved in programs pertinent to Japanese Language Education.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption¬of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
