Why is suction too strong on Dyson DC25?

Why is suction too strong on Dyson DC25? I had to change the brush bar and now the suction from the base is too strong very hard to push over carpet. I have tried the brush bar reset button but it’s not making any difference any suggestions please?

I don’t think the suction has changed, a new brush bar will cause more drag. Try adjusting the carpet height control.
