Car won't turn over

Car won't turn over. Got a new battery and the starter is fine. We think the problem is electronic. We unplugged the battery and when we plugged it back in the radio turned itself on and then the windshield wipers moved and i never touched the switch.

Where can you find the starter solenoid on a 2003 cavalier does not seem to be in the same place as other car or in the videos I have seen.

3 starters still won't turn the engine over unless you take the plugs out Jenna turned over real slow at doing that what's wrong with it

If the engine is cranking really slow, the problem is more than likely the battery charge is too low, or the starter itself is dragging. Try jumping it off with another vehicle while you attempt to start it. If it starts, one or the other is your problem. If it's cranking normally, check to see if you're getting fuel and spark.

I have this same problem so I added. Switch to the starter after replacing the starter and the ignition switch and now the car starts with no problem. My diagnosis is there must be a bad connection in the harness that goes after a long while of usage. Try adding a couple of wires and a switch. I’m willing to bet it will crank. You other guys that are cranking but no start need to check fuel pumps and crank and cam sensors. I guarantee it’s most definitely one of those issues. Good luck to all of you.
