Why does my laptop keep disconnecting from my wifi?

My laptop is constantly disconnecting from the wifi. I mean like only a minute after reconnecting it to the wifi. I've determined that it isn't the router, since all of my other devices don't have a problem staying connected. Nevertheless, I have still tried restarting the router but it doesn't work. I've also simply tried restarting the laptop, but that also didn't work.

"Hi Kicki Squi,

Verify that you have the latest Dell Win 10 64-bit WiFi drivers installed in the laptop.

Here is a link to the support page.

Scroll down and click on the Network (9 Files) link to see the various options.

You will have to go to Device Manager in your laptop to find out exactly which make of WiFi you have installed, so that you can download the correct driver. To get to Device Manager, right click on the start button in the lower left corner on the Taskbar. An options box will appear on the left side of the screen. Click on the link to Device Manager.

When in Device Manager, scroll down and click on the + sign next to Network Adapters to expand the list and then find the make and model of the WiFi network adapter. When you have found this you can download the correct drivers from the Dell download page.

Once you have downloaded the driver, (remember where you saved the file to), go back to Device Manager and right click on the WiFi network adapter, select Update driver and when given the option to Search online or select from a disc etc, select that option and then point to the saved downloaded file location to begin the driver update.

If updating the drivers doesn't help, try downloading and installing a free WiFi scanner program to get information regarding things such as WiFi signal level and the network channel number to see if there may be either a hardware problem with the laptop or perhaps interference on the network affecting your laptop"

"As I read the above discussion. Just go for Scan Valid Interval to fix your wireless network issue.

To increase your Scan Valid Interval:

1) On your laptop, press the Windows logo key and R on your keyboard to open the Run box. Then type “ncpa.cpl” and press Enter.

2) Right-click your Wireless/WiFi network adapter, then click Properties.

3) Click the Configure button.

4) Select the Advanced tab, then click Scan Valid Interval. Change its value to 120, and click OK.

I hope this will fix. If still any issues then read WiFi Keeps Disconnecting"
