Tip 1
Don't rely on a fixer if the fixer is not a friend or a relative. A fixer in LTO is a person who is going to process the registration. He may prioritize your registration. If you're the 20th or 30th applicant, he will make you the 1st applicant. Thus, you can save a lot of time. But if you're not in any way related to fixer, he may charged at a higher cost (twice or thrice the cost of actual registration seen on the Official Receipt).
Tip 2
Choose an affordable and reliable Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance. You can get that type of insurance from Cebuana Lhuillier. It costs around Php 300. It's cheaper than other insurance providers that charge you around Php700 to Php900. Most of them provide almost the same benefits (maximum of Php100,000 benefit) with Cebuana Lhuillier.
Tip 3
Make stencil copy of your motorcycle's engine number and chassis number. You can save Php30 to Php50 which is the cost of getting a stencil copy from other people.
Tip 4
Choose a certified smoke emission testing center that offers a cheaper price. Canvass. Don't hesitate to ask other motorcycle owners where you can find a cheaper smoke emission test.
Tip 5
Be an early bird. You should go to an LTO Office before or during the opening hour with all the needed requirements with you. In that way, your registration will be processed quickly. Thus, you can have a lot of time doing more valuable stuff that can earn you more money.
