National Book Development Board (NBDB) Little Lit Fest 2013

The National Book Development Board (NBDB) will hold its Little Lit Fest 2013 with the theme Children's Literature: A Coming of Age on May 30-31, 2013 at the Museo Pambata, Ermita, Manila.
The Festival aims to:
  1. boost the development of children's literature;
  2. expand the book industry in the Philippines by introducing local books to the global market; and
  3. encourage parents, teachers, librarians and other people in the education sector to strengthen reading habits of young readers.
This activity will bring together contest creators and producers with parents, teachers, librarians and anyone interested in quality Asian contest for children. This will also be attended by Mr. Ken Spillman, Australian-based writer of the Jake series, Ms. Candy Gaurlary, writer of Tale Story, as well as other international writers, editors and publishers.

The event's program of activities is enclosed.
The festival fee is One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 1,500.00) which covers all the sessions, performances and snacks.
