To ensure the smooth conduct of the 2012 National School Press Conference (NSPC) on April 9-13, 2012, the following additional information/guidelines are provided:
- The venue of this Conference shall be in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan to be hosted by Region IV-MIMAROPA in collaboration with the local government unit (LGU) of Puerto Princesa City.
- The first meal will be dinner on April 8, 2012 (Easter Sunday) and the last meal will be breakfast on April 13 (Friday).
- Advance payment of Four Thousand Pesos (PhP4,000.00) registration fee shall be deposited to DepEd Region IV-MIMAROPA (Trust Fund), Philippine Veterans Bank, Camp Crame Branch with Account No.: 00301-000-916-8. The deposit slip shall be sent through fax no.: (02) 637-3093 or via e-mail at depedmimaropa@yahoo.com.

- Enclosure No. 1 - Schedule of Activities;
- Enclosure No. 2 - General Reminders;
- Enclosure No. 3 - Guidelines on the Collaborative Publishing Contest;
- Enclosure No. 4 - Rules and Mechanics of the Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting Contest for the Special Program in Journalism (SPJ);
- Enclosure No. 5 - Rules and Mechanics of the Festival of Talents Activities for the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL);
- Enclosure No. 6 - Patnubay sa Paglahok sa Balagtasan.
- The Festival of Talents activities to be held simultaneously with the 2012 NSPC are the following:
- Presentation of the National Kindergarten Festival Winners;
- Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting Contest among the public secondary schools which piloted the Special Program in Journalism;
- Cultural Exhibit, Food Festival, Quiz Bee, Oratorical Contest, Cosplay and Presentation for the public secondary schools which piloted the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL); and
- Balagtasan ng mga Mag-aaral na nasa Ikalawang Taon sa Hayskul para sa Tagisan ng Talino sa Wika at Panitikan.
