Almost 1000 Job Order Workers sign-up as PAG-IBIG Members in HDMF Zamboanga

Philippines - Almost a thousand job order contract workers of the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Liloy, Sindangan and Dipolog recently registered as Pag-IBIG members when they signed the "survey form” during three separate Fund briefings conducted by the Pag-IBIG Zamboanga Branch Office in early June 2011.
A total of 79 job order workers from Liloy signed up on June 2, followed by 430 job order contract personnel from Sindangan on June 3. The biggest number of registrants, numbering 479, was from LGU-Dipolog City.

On June 2, Sindangan Municipal Mayor Nilo Florentino Sy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pag-IBIG Fund covering the collection of Pag-IBIG contributions and remittance of these collections to the Fund. On June 9, Liloy Municipal Mayor Jaime N. Lim entered into a similar MOU with HDMF. Pag-IBIG Zamboanga Branch Manager Amorpatri B. Bajarla signed MOUs for the Fund.

The MOU signing with LGU-Dipolog will be scheduled on a later date.
