Want a solution? Snooze Gmail.
How to put your Gmail on snooze
To snooze an individual email, hover over the email in your Gmail inbox and either right click for the Snooze button or click the clock icon at the top of the screen.
You can choose how long you want to snooze the email for — until later today, tomorrow, next week, or next weekend. Gmail automatically shows you those dates and times. Or you can enter a specific date and time that works best for you.

The email will reappear in your inbox when it's time for you to respond, which you can then snooze again if you want. Snoozed emails will appear with a label so you can easily locate them before the time is up.
