The Convention aims to establish the path in realizing the following end results:
- the choral conductor as a "multiplier” of sound musical ideas;
- better and standardized vocal training for all Philippine choirs;
- higher performance standards in national and international choral competitions; and
- a wider pool of gifted singers from the primary level to be able to uplift the already high quality of adult choirs.
The target participants to this activity are music educators and choral conductors nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
