The University of the Philippines System I.T. Foundation, Inc. (UP SITF), in cooperation with the University of the Philippines Information Technology Development Center (UP ITDC), Philippine Society of I.T. Educators (PSITE), and Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP) will hold the Philippine Youth Congress for Information Technology (Y4IT) 2013 on September 17-19, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
The Congress aims to: - introduce to the participants current information and communication technology (ICT) trends;
- provide knowledge sources for the youth; and
- open to them learning and career opportunities in ICT.
The target participants to this activity are college students, professionals and enthusiasts in I.T. nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
