The Teatro Mensaheros announces the line-up of musical plays for School
Year 2011-2012. The following are the details of each production:
1. Kapulungan Ng Mga DiyosA musical based on Dr. Jose Rizal's "El Consejos Delos Dioses" written in April 1880. Through funny scenes, light story telling, magical songs and entertaining dances, this play aims to develop interest among the youth and encourage them to read and enjoy the beauty of the four (4) classic books (Thong Adarna, Florante at Laura, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo). This will be shown from July 2011 to March 2012.
2. The MiserA musical adaptation of the classic comedy written by Moliere (a French play writer and actor who is considered to be one of the greatest masters of comedy in Western Literature. This story is about a rich miser named Harpagon, who rules his house with greed and meanness. It satirizes people who amassed tidy fortunes through avarice and usury. This will be shown from September 2011 to March 2012.
3. Kasaysayan Ng Isang InaA musical fairy tale based on Hans Andersons' "Story of a Mother." This will be shown from November 2011 to March 2012.
