As a follow-up event to its First National Conference held on April
14-15, 2011 at the CSB Hotel, Mate, Manila, the Association of Cultural
Offices of Philippine Educational Institutions (ACOPEI), Inc. will
conduct a Special Learning Session entitled " Arts Programming and
Cultural Office Structures" on September 15, 2011 (2:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.)
at the Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT), Intramuros, Manila.
Likewise, a short roundtable discussion on " The Status of Cultural Offices in the School's Organizational Structure" will be held at 3:30 p.m. With the theme "Arts Programming on a Budget," the activity aims to: - provide the participants with more knowledge in Arts Programming; and
- give them a background and a venue for discussion among cultural officers on the kind of set-up that would be best for their respective schools whether under the Student Affairs Office or the Office of the President.
The participants to this learning session are the cultural officers who are members and prospective members of the association.
