7th National Cheerleading Seminar-Workshop

The Cheerleading Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CLAP) will hold the 7TH National Cheerleading Seminar-Workshop on October 22-24, 2011 at the Teachers Camp, Baguio City. Basically, this seminar-workshop aims to promote cheerleading in the Philippines as a good form of developing good citizens through wholesome activities embodied in this interesting, new and developing sport. Specifically, the objectives of this activity are to:

1. enable the participants to practice safe moves at all times to prevent injuries;
2. train them on how to do individual, dual or series of stunts, tumbling and pyramid building, starting with the known then progressing gradually to the next higher skill level;
3. enjoy performing with team members for better cohesiveness and unity; and
4. aim for perfection, but feel what their bodies tell them for ease of movement and beauty of line.
   

The participants to this activity are supervisors, teachers, coordinators, cheerleading coaches, trainers and enthusiasts of physical education (PE), dance and gymnastics.

A registration fee of Three Thousand Three Hundred Pesos (PhP3,300.00) will be charged to each participant to cover the cost of board and lodging, venue rental, t-shirt and bag, materials, special prizes, certificates, equipment and facilities, honoraria and other miscellaneous items.
