The Summit focuses on cooperatives as a strategy in building integrated community enterprises, which supports members’ livelihood and promotes their productivity and entrepreneurship capability. Generally, the Summit aims to:
- provide the participants with an opportunity to link, work together and develop trust and confidence among each other;
- come up with their own regional strategic plan; and
- develop a framework or program for co-operative business partnership.
The target participants to this activity are the cooperative officers from both public and private sectors.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
