8th Philippine Bird Festival-Manila Bay

The Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP) in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources (DENR) and the Department of Tourism (DoT) announces the 8th Philippine Bird Festival-Manila Bay on December 7-8, 2012 at the Teodoro F. Valencia Circle, Rizal Park, Manila.
The Festival aims to promote responsible enjoyment of nature through birdwatching, educational awareness, and the protection and preservation of the country’s wild birds.

The target participants to this activity are the students and teachers of elementary and secondary from both public and private schools nationwide.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled: Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
