Seminar-Workshop on Basic Sign Language

The Resources for Educational and Allied Consultancy Habitat (REACH), Inc. in partnership with the Sharing Our Caring Foundation, Inc. wi11 hold the Seminar-Workshop on Basic Sign Language entitled "Learn the Language of Signs" on April 14-18, 2012 at the REACH, Inc., 2F Uniwide Sales Metromall, Alabang-Zapote Road, Las Pinas City. The activity aims to:

1. demonstrate competence in receptive and expressive visual readiness for acquiring basic language skills;
2. gain knowledge on basic expressive and receptive communicative competency in sign language;
3. sign vocabularies and sentences using the principles and proper guidelines on signing effectively; and
4. sing and sign ASL songs for young children and adults.
   

The participants to this activity are the teachers, principals, school administrators, guidance councilors, psychologists, therapists and professionals.

A registration fee of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP7,500.00) will be charged to each Early Bird registrant until March 30, 2012 and Eight Thousand Pesos (PhP8,000.00) to each regular registrant who will register after March 30, 2012.
