As you can notice, the cost of maintaining balance is usually the same with the cost of initial deposit.
You should maintain the required maintaining balance of your Unionbank account to avoid service charge (worth Php 1,000) except for EON account.
If you're an employee with average salary, it's recommended to open an EON account which has no maintaining balance and has a very low initial deposit.
