Why did brakes fail after repair?

Why did brakes fail after repair? If anyone could help me I'd appreciate it, my problem is that I replaced my front rotors, pads, rear shoes, rear lines, and spring kit, and it was fine for about two days, then on Saturday I was on my way home from work, and I went to make a stop at a red light and had no breaks at all, and my ABS light came on, so I limped home 1.5 miles down back roads. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this I'm all ears.
